비교급 than 뒤에 주격? or 목적격?

  

우선 인칭 대명사에 대한 기초학습부터~

주격: I, you, he, she, we, they, it

 

목적격 : me, you, him, her, us, them, it

 

 

@ You and I / you and me

 

 

 

You and I should speak to Cindy about this matter. (주어 자리에 주격)

Cindy wans to interview you and me. (목적어 자리 목적격)

 

 

He and I are going to Busan on Saturday. (He and I 주어)

They wouldn't listen to her or me when I said we couldn't go with them. (her or me 목적어)

 

단, 구어체에서는 종종 주어 자리에 you and me가 쓰입니다. (문법적으로는 틀리지만) 

 

그렇다고 her 또는 me가 주어로 쓰이지는 않음

■  Me too! - It's me!

 

아래처럼 짧은 대답에 보통 목적격을 써요.

 

Who's that behind the sofa? - It's me!
소파 뒤에 누구야?                   나야!

 

 

I am going to Busan on Saturday - Me too!
나 토요일 부산 갈 거야.                  나도! 

 

 

  

□  위와 비슷한 맥락으로

@ as...as / like/ but / than / except 뒤에 '목적격'을 자주 사용하며, as....as / than 주어+동사 형태도 가능합니다.

 

 

He can't run as fast as me, so he's better off as a defender. : 그는 나보다 빨리 달릴 수 없어. 그러니까 수비수로 뛰는 게 나아.

 

 

He can't run as fast as I can, so he's better off as a defender. : 그는 내가 할수 있는(뛰는 것)보다 빨리 달릴 수 없어. 

 

 

They say Tom look exactly like me when I was eighteen. : 사람들이 말하길, 탐은 열여덟살 때의 나와 똑같이 생겼다고 한다.

  

 

They say Tom look exactly as I did when I was eighteen

 

 

Nobody but her would go shopping wearing a mask!

 

 

Everybody, except Tony and me, got back before sundown.

 

I'm taller than her, so I should stand at the back.

 

 

I'm taller than she is, so I should stand at the back.

▶ 비교급 as...as / than 뒤에 주격을 쓰는 것도 가능

원래 문장은 I am taller than she is.

 

두 절의 구조가 같은 경우, 뒤에 나오는 절에서 술부 동사를 생략할 수 있음

I am taller than she (is)

 

하지만 as 나 than 뒤에 주격이 오는 자리에 보통은 목적격을 씀 (특히 회화에서)

 

I am taller than her.
