1. look, seem, appear 가 연결 동사로 사용될 때
She looks unhappy
He seems angry
They appear (to be) contented.

look이 연결 동사가 아니라, 타동사로 쓰일 때, 부사가 사용될 수 있음
She looked angrily at the intruder.
2. look, seem+ as if 또는 like가 올 때
- appear + as if/ like (거의 쓰지 않음)
